Chevrolet BelAir 57
Chevy BelAir 57 - Gallatin, TN - $43,000
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. This was my father's car and I am selling on behalf of my mother. He owned the car for 19 years. He was caring for my mother declining health and as a result the car was not driven for the last 5 years. I have since had the entire fuel system cleaned and or replaced and the carburetor rebuilt as well as purchased a new battery. The car has a 350 small block with a turbo 350 transmission. It has dual exhaust. The paint is a gold basecoat with candy apply red on top and although it does have some imperfections and is not a perfect show car the paint job is quite striking and draws a lot of attention even next to other tri-fives. It has always been garage kept. The pinstripes were applied by a well known pinstripper named Harris. The body is very solid with no rust. Trunk and floorboards are in very good condition. Of note would be that the fuel sender needs to be replaced as the gauge has stopped working, the radiator has a slow leak and the wheels do show some age. This is a mechanically sound car and has made several 200 mile round trips as well as countless shorter trips with no issues. The chrome is in excellent condition. The interior is excellent condition. The headliner is in excellent condition. I have gotten the car back on the road and driven it several times with no issues
