Heres a super nice car for someone ! Up for sale is an elderly friends 1960 chevy rare to find 2 door brookwood wagon completely restored with a very fussy frame off restoration. this car is an orignal california yellow plate black lettered license plate car that only has had a couple of owners. driven from california to ny over 40 years ago by the last now elderly owner that kept it in a heated garage ever since. for many years he worked on doing the frame off restoration with every suspention part on the chassie replaced. the body never ever had any rust or dents on it i m told. after put the body back on the frame he took it a body shop and spared no expense on the old school looking flame paint job that is super clean,shiney and straight. he got rid of the orignal 6 cyl 3 speed and bought a 396 and turbo 400 transmission that again sparred no expense having both of them rebuilt. sadly his health took a turn for the worse and needing funds for medical bills. my elderly friend bob decided to help him out and give him all the money he had invested it. bob being elderly him self in his late 70s and an old school hot rodder, took a few years for him to finish the restoration and also spared no expense and it shows.the 402 engine and turbo 400 transmission run very smooth and very powerful and goes down the road nice. the car also has a disc brake converstion which stops the car excelent. the interior was done with brand new orignal looking material and looks really nice. bob has taken it to a few shows and won a first place everytime he goes or shall i say when ever he goes. bob has only put just over 400 miles on the car since finishing it. bob now has a few health problems and especially his back is bad and has a hard time getting in and out of this car with his back being in extreme pain so he ask me today to advertise it and see if someone would love a completely done show car to just get in and totally enjoy !
